Low alloy titanium alloy with palladium content.
Improved corrosion resistance due to addition of palladium.

The low-alloy titanium materials were mainly developed for use in the chemical industry. They have the same advantageous properties as pure titanium materials, with improved corrosion resistance at the same time. This is achieved by adding small amounts of Pd and Ni + Mo, which increases the resistance to reducing solutions and reduces the risk of crevice corrosion, especially in chloride-containing media.

Applications

• Chemical plants, especially for highly aggressive and chloride-containing media
